What is the difference between 15pt synthetic plastic and 8mil plastic paper?

Updated 4 months ago by Alexis Underwood

They are both compelling and unique alternatives to traditional papers. They are both synthetic papers, machine-made and 100% polypropylene (plastic). They are both waterproof, stain resistant, and extremely strong and durable.

One is simply the text weight version and the other is the cover weight version

Just how 70# uncoated text is the lightweight version of 14pt uncoated cardstock, and 100# gloss text is the lightweight version of 14pt gloss cardstock, 8mil plastic is the lightweight version of 15pt synthetic plastic.

Luckily, both of these are included in our free sample pack for you to see for yourself. So what are you waiting for? Order a free sample pack now!
