The "Rewind Direction" refers to which way the label printing is "right side up" as you unroll your labels to apply them to your products. There are 8 possible orientations for the labels related to how they go onto the final roll. Rewind 1 - 4 are "Wound Out" - the label is facing the outside of the roll and the liner is on the inside. The labels are visible when the roll is wound up. Rewind 5 - 8 are "Wound In" - the label is facing the inside of the roll and the liner is on the outside of the roll.
