Rewind 1 is one of 8 possible winding directions. There are 8 possible orientations for the labels related to how they go onto the final roll. The "Rewind Direction" refers to which way the label printing is "right side up" as you unroll your labels to apply them to your products. Rewind 1 - 4 are "Wound Out" - the label is facing the outside of the roll and the liner is on the inside. The labels are visible when the roll is wound up. Rewind 5 - 8 are "Wound In" - the label is facing the inside of the roll and the liner is on the outside of the roll. Rewind 1: The label is facing you with the TOP OF THE COPY dispensing first.
