If centering your artwork is critical, we generally do not recommend borders. However, if the borders are to be printed, the borders should be at least 1/4" thick in order for them to appear even as possible after we trim your order. If the borders are small, there is a risk that a part of them will get cut off or look uneven as there may be a shift of up to 1/8" when cutting.
