How can I indicate a cut line in my artwork?

The setup for die-cut products is very similar to that of orders with special effects. We prefer one separate file for the die-line file (aka shape file) to be supplied, and one file with the regular artwork to print. The artwork should have a 1/8โ€ bleed going over where the die-cutting will occur. The die-line file should be created in a vector program only where a solid 1pt thick black stroke (or outline) is used for the shape. Here is an example of how to set up files
